Flex Builder cannot locate the required debugger version of Flash Player. You might need to install the debugger version of Flash Player 9 or reinstall Flex Builder.

I am looking for an intern that is fluent in Flash AS3, Flex would be a bonus, but is not required.

Duties include actionscript development for flash applications using server side ingeneration via XML. As well as some knowledge in HTML production, PHP, MySQL application design and coding, QA, user acceptance testing.

The ideal candidate has their own personal portfolio website with a couple of Flash pieces, either sites, widgets or applications (class projects are fine). I will need to see samples of work and code for me to consider.

This is an unpaid internship.
Student must receive class credits.

I had to wake up and leave the house by 4am to be sure to arrive at the Hotel New York by 6am. I got suited up in a blue one piece with red apron with spidey eyes on it. Then I took a bus uptown to the beginning of the parade. It was still dark out when we walked past all the balloons and floats.

We had to wait in position for an hour, but once we got started we had to walk fast and listen for the commands from the pilot. All the kids were waving and cheering. Lots of cameras in the crowd. We had our own cheer, “Spider-man, Spider-man does what ever a spider can. GO SPIDEY!!”

I waved into the camera when we got to the end of the parade at 34th Street. My girlfriend in Florida and her daughter saw me We rolled up the balloon and when I returned my custom I received my pin for participating in the 83rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

I met my boyfriend and brother and we watched the rest of the parade from 42nd where the parade turns. There were so many people it was insane. I have more pictures on my flickr account

So you heard from someone that you should use Flex as your Actionscript editor. You want to write Actionscript without MXML. How do you bring in assets to use with your code? This tutorial will go through all the steps to do so. It is a beginner tutorial that will allow you to import assets from Flash into Flex.

Getting Flash assets into a Flex Actionscript project. It’s easier than it sounds. This is a very basic tutorial to get anyone that is already comfortable with Flash and is ready to move into Flex as their Actionscript Editor. I would love some feedback, so comment if you have any questions or suggestions how I can make this a better tutorial.

In order to save the Flash file into the correct folder you need to create the Flex Actionscript Project first. Then you will create the flash swc file to use in the Flex Actionscript Project.
